When the front panel reads Load Manual Feed slot using both hands, put one piece of paper in the manual feed slot until the front edge of the paper touches the paper feed roller.
Once the machine has grasped the paper, let go. The side to be printed should be faced up. The machine will hold the paper in place until the print data is sent to the machine. I am trying to print double sided and the printer comand defalst to "load manual feed slot: How do I get it to stop giving this command and print doubled sided? I have tried what you outlined above. I tried selecting Auto select first. The printer will still not print double sided and if i try it keeps coming up with the manual feed command.
I then tried selecting Tray 1. If I select this the printer does not accept a double sided print command but simply prints single sided. I have ben able to print double sided since I set the printer up about 2 months ago. The printer was set up to print double sided automatically.
